The Ten-Step Buyer Process
The four biggest fears of a buyer are:
- Losing the home to another buyer.
- Missing something.
- Paying too much.
- Something wrong with it.
The ten-step buyer process is designed to remove these fears before the house search begins. Here is how it works.
- Greeting – by phone or email, I will connect with you to set up our first meeting to be held face to face, a zoom call, or a property for showing.
- Meeting – during our initial meeting you will receive from me all the pertinent information you need to know about the home buying process. You will have the opportunity to ask questions to ensure you are ready for the home buying experience.
- Interview – expect to share with me some important information with me such as: your current living situation, and your familiarity with how real estate works.
- Buyer packet – in this packet it will contain information for everything you need to buy real estate in Tampa Bay.
- Funnel – together we will filter through your likes and dislikes.
- Scale of 1 to 10 – this is your opportunity to tell me where you are.
- Dream home exercise – what does your dream home look like?
- What’s and why’s – this will be your opportunity to tell me the features you want in the house and the benefits of each.
- Financing – how do you expect to purchase this home? Cash or Loan?
- The next steps – I will explain where we go from here in your home buying process. I will explain the contract so you understand whether we will be working with details such as calendar days versus business days; terms of the contract; inclusions and exclusions; contingencies among other things.
